Kristan Training 2

The Images International team underwent another training on Monday with Kristan from K Bella Salon. Kristan has brought her expertise to Images in the past and being an educator for the Neuma International Design Team she keeps our girls trained on the most cutting edge techniques and styles.

The training concentrated on two main areas, women’s cuts and consultations. Previous trainings involved men’s cuts and reproducing hair cut styles from photographs.

Megan and Sahar learned a great new technique for cutting bangs. Bangs are coming back in style, celebrities and even the first lady have cut their hair with bangs for a youthful, trendy appearance. The technique involves grasping the section of hair to be the bangs, giving it a twist and then snipping. Once the bangs lay across the forehead they have an angle on the sides due to the twist.

Kristan has always trained our girls in the value of the customer consultation. Whether they are speaking to a brand new client or a returning customer they will consult and connect with them at every visit. This is a wonderful opportunity for the stylists to engage our valued guest in what they like or do not like about their hair.
