Whether you wear hair or not you may find yourself sticking with the same length or style year after year. If you're feeling bored with the same look everyday but you are nervous to take the plunge and cut your hair or try something different try some of these styling tricks to create a fresh appearance.
Switch Your Part
Try parting your hair on the opposite side, or, if you wear a part down the middle try a side part. Doing so can give a youthful or sultry look. If you're having trouble making it stay, you may need to train it by adding a little styling cream an bobby pinning it where you want it for a few days.
If your hair is straight you can achieve a gorgeous look by adding curls. You can wrap sections around a 1" curling iron for loose romantic curls, or try some loose braids, run a straight iron through and unravel them to create waves. Spray some hairspray and tossle the roots for volume and you're good to go!
Master Air Drying
Air drying your hair doesn't need to lead to a frizzy mess. It's all about the products you use. Try the Surface products at Images International to create structure and volume to your waves or curls. Switch your part while drying to the opposite side to give the roots some "oomph" and to avoid a flat top and curly ends.
For short styles like pixies use Surface styling mud sold at Images International to create edgy texture and volume. Use round brushes if your short style is growing out to create dimension.
